Before you come out.

Licenses, Tags & Vouchers

Our hunts take place in Colorado Game Management Units 101, 102, and 109. Tags and landowner vouchers in these units are limited and valuable, and hunts are offered first-come, first-served subject to securing the appropriate tag or voucher. Reach out early and we'll walk you through the current tag and voucher situation for your species and season.

What to Bring

Your rifle or bow and ammunition/arrows, required blaze orange for rifle seasons, layered cold-weather clothing, sturdy boots, and quality binoculars. Glassing is a big part of our mule deer and pronghorn hunts, so good optics make a real difference.

Getting Here

We're based in Joes, Colorado, on the Eastern Plains near the Kansas line. Most hunters fly into Denver and drive out, or come in from surrounding states. Contact us for the meeting location and directions once your hunt is confirmed.

FAQs

Common questions.

Whitetail deer, mule deer, and pronghorn antelope — buck only. We do not offer whitetail or mule deer doe hunts.
We're based in Joes, Colorado, and hunt roughly 30,000 private acres across Game Management Units 101, 102, and 109 on the Eastern Plains.
Whitetail and mule deer hunts can be conducted with rifle or archery equipment. On guided rifle hunts our general management goal is to pass whitetail bucks believed to be under the 150-inch range; archery hunters have more flexibility to judge their own buck within all applicable regulations.
Tags and vouchers in these units are limited and often difficult to obtain. Hunts depend on securing the appropriate tag or landowner voucher and are offered first-come, first-served. Contact us and we'll explain the options for your hunt.
Heated elevated box blinds and ground blinds for whitetails, plus glassing and spot-and-stalk for mule deer and pronghorn. Your guide adjusts the approach around current movement, weather, and conditions.
Lodging is not currently offered directly through the outfitter. Contact us for details and local recommendations when planning your trip.
Use the booking widget on our Contact page or call us at (970) 371-9662. Because tags and vouchers are limited, we recommend reaching out early. Contact us for current deposit and booking details.
